OUR STORY

ZUHRA didn’t start as a business plan, it started with a love for hair.

What began with doing hair for friends and family quickly grew into something bigger. As more women trusted us with their hair, we began to understand what was really missing in this fast-paced beauty world - not just good styling, but quality, consistency, and hair women could truly rely on.

That’s when ZUHRA evolved from just doing hair to supplying it.

We started sourcing and selling hair that met the standards we already held as stylists—hair that looked good, lasted, and gave women peace of mind. From there, it naturally progressed into creating custom wigs and units, giving clients more convenience and more ways to express themselves.

With every step, the vision became clearer.

ZUHRA was never just about hair, it has and always will be about women feel.

In 2023, ZUHRA expanded with the opening of our salon in Sierra Leone.

For us this was a full-circle moment.
Bringing everything back home and creating a space where women can experience ZUHRA in its fullest form, from service to product to environment.

Through our presence in Sierra Leone, we actively encourage school and college attendance by creating incentives, support, and real-life examples of what’s possible. We want young girls to see more, aim higher, and believe in themselves beyond their circumstances.
